    Ease of use

If you’re looking for a mower with serious pedigree, you’re in the right place. The 48 autodrive 474A is a classic Hayter mower - boasting a powerful autodrive system with variable speed controls, a trim side for immaculate borders and a high-performance, two-piece rear roller that takes all the hard work out of those classic British lawn stripes.

The cut and collect system is one of a kind too. Employing a large, 70l grassbag; an ABS-lined underdeck and forward-facing fins that are designed to comb grass into an upright position before its cut, the Harrier 474A massively reduces the amount of time you’ll spend emptying out grass clippings, or cleaning up after you’ve finished mowing a lawn.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Harrier 474A also boasts Hayter’s unique Vari-Pitch cutting technology, which automatically adjusts the cutting height to increase airflow when you’re cutting long (or wet) grass. It’s a versatile machine that takes the hard work out of lawn maintenance, and it’s a real joy to use.

    Performance

Blessed with a powerful engine and a host of performance-enhancing technologies, the Harrier 474A will make light work of any domestic lawn. It provides all the horsepower you’ll need to power through thick or tall grass, and its 7 height-of-cut settings ensure you get the perfect cut every time.

What's more, its front-facing fins are designed to comb individual blades of grass into an upright position before the blade reaches them; ensuring an even and consistent cut.
